Wheher you're just getting started or in the environment for years, making money in this mafia game almost always starts with the crime ladder.
How it works
You chose a crime from a list that goes up in risk and reward. Each crime has a few fixed properties that determines where it is worth it:
- Success rate (%) — the chance you'll make it. Rise your rank and experience with that particular crime.
- Loot (€ from–to) — an arbitrary amount within this margin if successful.
- Experience (XP) — fixed XP per successful full job, increasing your rank.
- Minimum grade — more serious crimes unlock as you go higher.
Important to too to know: a successful crime gives you not only cash. You gets there also XP along (good for you XP & ranks) and season points for the season pass. In addition is there at each job a chance on a free tuning part for you vehicles and a chance on a safe code — a free reward that you can redeem. Crimes commit is so much more than loose cash bring in: the feeds almost each other system in the game.
Success: How do you raise it?
You success chance starts at the base chance of the crime and becomes than adjusted: +1,6% per rank above the recommended rank, +experience (+1% per successful and +0,4% per failed attempt of that crime, up to +20%), −punishment at low health (up to −15% at 0% HP) and −police attention (up to −40% at full heat). The outcome stays always between 5% and 95% — nothing is guaranteed or hopeless. Want you a higher chance and so a lower chance of being caught? Rise in rank, repeat the same crime to experience on too build, hold you health high and late the police attention cool down for you again strikes.
The crime ladder
From small to large: Package pirate (high probability, small score) → Souvenir robbery → Cracking ATM → Museum heist → Bank robbery → Diamond heist (low probability, biggest score). Each step pays more on average per attempt, but demands a higher rank and gives a bigger chance of getting caught. A crime far above your rank you can try, but your chances of success fall to the bottom (5%) and every failure costs health plus cell chance — so pride is punished. The smart route is: stay at the level where your success rate is comfortable above 50% and do not climb until your rank and experience grows.
Police attention (heat)
Each crime increases the police attention. How more you behind each other strikes, how lower you success chance and how bigger the chance that you becomes arrested. The attention sinks automatically away if you the just calm on does — timing is so part of the strategy. Much experienced players exchange therefore crimes af with other activities such as drugs deal, vehicles or organized crime to the heat too let pockets.
Streak & Jackpot Series
Succeeds the several turn on row, than build you a series on that you loot peps up (up to +50%). In addition is there a small chance on a heist jackpot that you proceeds 2–3× makes. At a failure falls you series back to zero — exactly therefore is the so tempting to through too go, and correct therefore can stop on time the smartest move to be.
Getting Arrested & Prison
If a crime fails, you run the prison (1,5–7 minutes). From the cell you can try to break out; If you can't do that, you'll do your time. You can't do anything criminal while you're in jail, so any failure not only costs you your series, but also valuable playing time. That's why a low score is as important as a high score.
Cooling time
After each attempt applies a short cooldown (standard 45 seconds) before you again can strike. With VIP and determined advantages becomes that shorter, so that you faster XP and cash can stack.
