Whether you're just getting started or in the environment for years, making money in this mafia game almost always starts with the crime ladder.
How it works
You choose a crime from a list that goes up in risk and reward. Each crime has a few fixed properties that determine whether it is worth it:
- Success rate (%) You got a chance to make it. Rise your rank and experience with that particular crime.
- Loot (€ from pometo) In the event of success, an arbitrary amount within this margin.
- Experience (XP) Fixed XP per successful job, increasing your rank.
- Minimum grade You unlock heavier crimes the higher you come.
Important to know: A successful crime doesn't just give you cash. You'll get some. XP with (good for you XP & Ranks) and seasonal points for the season pass. In addition, every job has a chance of a free tuning part for your vehicles and a chance of a safe code A free reward you can redeem. So committing crimes is much more than collecting loose cash: It feeds almost every other system in the game.
Success: How do you raise it?
Your chance of success begins with the basic chance of the crime and is then adjusted: +1.6% per grade above the recommended grade, +experience (+1% per successful and +0.4% per failed attempted crime, up to +20%), − low health punishment (up to −15% at 0% HP) and − police attention (up to −40% at full heat). The outcome always stays between 5% and 95% Nothing is guaranteed or without chance. You want a higher chance and a lower chance? Rise in rank, repeat the same crime to build up experience, keep your health high and let police attention cool before you strike again.
The crime ladder
From small to large: Package pirate (high chance, small loot) → Souvenir robbery → Cracking ATM → Museum squat → Bank robbery → Diamantroof (low chance, biggest loot). Each step pays more on average per attempt, but demands a higher rank and gives a bigger chance of getting caught. A crime far above your rank can be tried, but your chances of success go down to the bottom (5%) and every failure costs health plus cell chance. The smart route is: stay at the level where your success rate is comfortably above 50% and do not climb until your rank and experience grows.
Police attention (heat)
Every crime increases the police attention. The more you hit each other in a row, the lower your chances of success and the greater the chance of being caught. The attention will go down automatically if you take it easy. Many experienced players therefore alternate crimes with other activities such as Dealing drugsvehicles or organised crime To lower the heat.
Streak & Jackpot Series
If you do it several times in a row, you build a series on which your loot peps (up to +50%). In addition, there is a small chance of a jackpot which makes your yield 2.73×. In the event of failure, your sequence falls back to zero, which is exactly why it is so tempting to continue, and that is precisely why stopping on time can be the smartest move.
Getting arrested & prison
If a crime fails, your chances are the prison to be turned on (1,5 m/s). From the cell you can try to break out; If you can't do that, you'll do your time. You can't do anything criminal while you're in jail, so any failure not only costs you your series, but also valuable playing time. That's why a low score is as important as a high score.
Cooling time
After each attempt a short cooling time (standard 45 seconds) before you can strike again. With VIP and certain advantages, it gets shorter, so you can stack XP and cash faster.
Rewards that count for more
Crimes feed almost your entire progress. Every successful job counts for performance, daily tasks, week challenges and ongoing tournaments. Revenues also scale with the current economic balance and with seasonal and city event-modifiers: During a favorable event, the same crime can result significantly more. Those who regularly commit crimes do not only collect cash but also free extras such as tuning parts and Safe codes, while the counter for your season pass and performance simply continues.
Strategy: So you build a criminal career
- Play crimes of which you have the chance to succeed comfortably above 50%; repetition builds experience and a series.
- Drop the police attention every now and then for a higher beating and lower beating chance.
- Stop on time: Failure can cost your cell time and your sequence.
- Plan your big blows during favorable city events or seasonal modifiers for maximum yield.
- Use the cash to invest in vehicles, weapons and your family, so that your criminal career continues to grow.
