Committing crimes is the backbone of BELLOCCO: it pays out cash, experience (XP) and season points, and it's the fastest way to get ahead in your criminal career. You'll find it under Crime → Commit Crime. Whether you're brand new or you've been in the business for years, making money in this mafia game almost always starts on the crime ladder.
How it works
You pick a crime from a list that climbs in risk and reward. Each crime has a few fixed properties that decide whether it's worth it:
- Success rate (%): the odds that you pull it off. Goes up with your rank and your experience with that specific crime.
- Loot (€ range): a random amount within that range on success.
- Experience (XP): fixed XP per successful job, which raises your rank.
- Minimum rank: heavier crimes unlock as you climb higher.
Worth knowing: a successful crime doesn't just hand you cash. You also get XP (feeds into your XP & ranks) and season points for your Battlepass. On top of that, every job carries a chance at a free tuning part for your vehicles and a chance at a vault code, a free reward you can redeem. So committing crimes feeds almost every other system in the game, not just your wallet.
Success rate: how do you raise it?
Your success rate starts at the crime's base chance and is then adjusted: +1.6% per rank above the recommended rank, +experience (+1% per success and +0.4% per failed attempt at that crime, up to +20%), −a penalty for low health (up to −15% at 0% HP), and −police attention (up to −25% at full heat, tunable by the admins). The result always stays between 5% and 95%: nothing is guaranteed or hopeless. Want a higher success rate and a lower arrest risk? Rank up, repeat the same crime to build experience, keep your health up, and let your police attention cool down before you strike again.
Two more factors matter. New players always succeed at their first three crimes, so you can get a feel for the system risk-free; from the fourth crime onward the normal odds above apply. And if you have gear (items, sets or a vehicle) with a crime bonus, that bonus is added straight on top of your success rate.
The crime ladder
From small to big: Package Piracy (high chance, small loot) → Souvenir Heist → ATM Cracking → Museum Heist → Bank Robbery → Diamond Heist (low chance, biggest loot). Each step pays more on average per attempt but demands a higher rank and carries a bigger risk of getting caught. You can try a crime far above your rank, but your success rate bottoms out at 5% and every failure costs you health plus jail time: overreaching gets punished. The smart route is to stay at the level where your success rate sits comfortably above 50%, and only climb once your rank and experience catch up.
Police attention (heat)
Every crime raises your police attention. The more you strike in a row, the lower your success rate and the higher your risk of getting caught. Attention cools down on its own once you ease off for a while, so timing is part of the strategy. Many experienced players alternate crimes with other activities like dealing drugs, vehicles or organized crime to let the heat drop.
Streaks and jackpots
Pull it off several times in a row and you build a streak that boosts your loot (up to +50%). There's also a small chance of a heist jackpot that multiplies your payout 2–3×. A failure resets your streak to zero: that's exactly what makes it tempting to keep going, and exactly why knowing when to stop can be the smartest move.
Getting caught and jail
Fail a crime and you risk ending up in jail for 1.5–6 minutes. From your cell you can try to break out; if that doesn't work, you serve your time. You can't do anything criminal while you're locked up, so a failure costs you not just your streak but also valuable playtime. A low arrest risk is therefore just as important as a high payout.
Cooldown
Every attempt is followed by a short cooldown (90 seconds by default) before you can strike again. VIP and certain perks shorten it, so you can stack XP and cash faster.
Rewards that count for more
Committing crimes feeds almost your entire progress. Every successful job counts toward achievements, daily tasks, weekly challenges and any running tournaments. Payouts also scale with the current economy balance and with season and city event modifiers: during a favorable event, the same crime can pay out a lot more. Regular crime also means collecting free extras like tuning parts and vault codes, while your Battlepass and achievement counters keep ticking along.
Strategy: building a criminal career
- Play crimes where your success rate sits comfortably above 50%; repetition builds experience and a streak.
- Let your police attention cool off now and then for a higher success rate and a lower arrest risk.
- Know when to stop: a failure can cost you jail time and your streak.
- Time your big plays around favorable city events or season modifiers for maximum payout.
- Put the cash into vehicles, weapons and your family so your criminal career keeps growing.
Frequently asked questions
How do I commit a crime?
Go to Crime → Commit Crime, pick a crime from the ladder that matches your rank and success rate, and confirm. After a short cooldown you can strike again.
What do I earn from a crime?
On success you get a random cash amount within that crime's loot range, possibly boosted by your streak (up to +50%) or a rare heist jackpot (2–3×). Payouts scale with the economy balance and with season and city event modifiers.
Do I get XP and season points?
Yes. Every successful crime gives fixed XP that raises your rank, plus season points for your Battlepass. The job also counts toward achievements, daily tasks, weekly challenges and tournaments.
Can I find vault codes or parts?
Definitely. Every successful crime carries a chance at a free tuning part for your vehicles and a chance at a vault code you can redeem as a free reward. The more you strike, the more chances you get.
What happens if I get caught?
Fail a crime and you can end up in jail for 1.5–6 minutes. You can try to break out; if that fails, you serve your time and can't do anything criminal in the meantime. Your streak drops back to zero.
How do I lower my arrest risk?
Raise your success rate: rank up, build experience by repeating the same crime, keep your health up, and let police attention (heat) cool off before you strike again. Also stick to crimes that match your rank instead of jobs far above your level.
Is there a safety net for new players?
Yes: your very first three crimes always succeed, no matter your rank or which crime you pick. That lets you get comfortable with the system before the normal success rates kick in.
