Crack the safe: tumbler minigame with a daily jackpot

What is Crack the Vault?

Crack the Vault is a quick, addictive safe-cracking mini-game in BELLOCCO. The vault has a few pins (tumblers) and every attempt is a gamble on whether you drop one. Get all the pins down within your attempts and the vault springs open and you grab the jackpot. It is one of the most fun ways in this free mafia game to pick up some extra cash and rare loot every day.

There is nothing complicated to learn: you press "Crack!", the mini-game does the rest and immediately shows whether a pin drops. The further you get in the game, the better you become: your experience (XP) nudges your success chance up a little.

How it works: daily attempts

Every player has a daily number of attempts that refills by itself. Every "Crack!" costs one attempt, so you decide whether to go all in or build up calmly.

• A successful attempt drops a pin.
• Once all pins are down, the vault opens and you cash the jackpot.
• Your success chance rises slightly with your XP, so experienced players hit more often.
• Out of attempts? They refill for the next round.

Because your daily attempts are limited, it pays to drop by every day: just like your login bonus and your daily tasks.

The vault in numbers

• Tumblers per vault: 3.
• Crack chance per attempt: 45%, plus up to 15 extra percentage points as your XP grows (the full bonus at 50,000 XP).
• Attempts per day: 8 (VIP: 16). They refill every night at 00:00.
• Progress is kept: pins that have dropped stay down, even when you run out of attempts. The next day you continue where you left off.
• Jackpot: a base of €35,000 plus €12,000 per streak step (up to 8 steps), before scaling with the economy and the season.
• Extra drops when a vault opens: a 12% chance of a vault code and a 5% chance of 2 diamonds.

These are the default values; staff can adjust them.

The jackpot & your streak

The jackpot is a base amount that grows as your streak rises. Your streak is the number of vaults you have cracked this season: the more vaults you open, the bigger the payout. A failed attempt does not break your streak; only the season reset sets it back to 0. The streak has a cap, so the amounts stay fair.

The jackpot payout scales with the economy balance of the game and with the season theme. That keeps a cracked vault worthwhile, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned family boss. A long streak is the key to the biggest hits: a really fat jackpot even makes the news.

Free rewards: vault codes & diamonds

On top of the cash, every opened vault has a chance of extra free rewards: you can find a vault code, or even a rare bonus of diamonds, the premium currency of BELLOCCO. These drops are not guaranteed, but they make every attempt exciting.

Counts towards your progress

Cracking is not only about the loot. Every crack also counts towards your wider progress in the game:

• Your first successful crack earns the achievement Code Cracker, and there are more vault milestones to reach.
• Cracking counts for daily tasks, weekly challenges and running tournaments.
• The best safecrackers of the season are on the leaderboard on the vault page.

Crack once, move forward on several fronts.

VIP perk: twice as many attempts

With a VIP account you get twice as many attempts every day. That means twice the chances at the jackpot, vault codes and that rare diamond drop, and your streak grows faster too.
