Besides your regular rank, every player in BELLOCCO has a separate crime rank. This ranking is not about XP but about pure volume: the number of crimes you have successfully committed. Your crime rank is literally your criminal résumé on the streets: the higher it is, the more respect you command in the underworld. Below you will find the complete, up-to-date list straight from the game.

The crime rank list

You start at the bottom as a Petty Thief and work your way up through Crook, Criminal, Gangster, Gang Leader, Mafioso and Underboss to the absolute top: Crime King. Every rank requires a fixed number of successful crimes. The steps keep getting bigger, so the road to the top takes perseverance.

How do you climb in crime rank?

The only way up is committing successful crimes: failed attempts do not count. Every successful job, small or big, moves you closer to the next rank. That means consistently grinding crimes you reliably pull off often works faster than gambling on heavy crimes with a low success rate. Want to know which crimes there are and what they pay? See the overview of all crimes and read how best to go about committing crimes.

Why does your crime rank matter?

Your crime rank is mainly a status symbol: public proof of how many jobs you have pulled off. Important to know: your crime rank itself does not unlock crimes and does not raise your success rate. That is decided by your regular rank (XP-based), your personal experience with that specific crime, your health and the police attention you have built up. Every time you reach a new crime rank, you do automatically receive a promotion reward (cash and other resources) and a message. Organized crime also has rank requirements, but those are tied to your regular rank, not your crime rank. Committing lots of crimes does help indirectly, though, because every successful job also earns XP for your regular rank.

What do you earn along the way?

Every successful crime that pushes your crime rank forward also pays out cash, XP and season points, with a chance at a tuning part and a vault code. On top of that, every job counts toward your achievements, daily tasks, challenges and tournaments. Climbing in crime rank is never wasted effort: the same actions that raise your rank also fill your wallet and your trophy cabinet.

Strategy to climb fast

  • Grind within your level. Crimes you reliably pull off give more successful jobs per hour than risky gambles.
  • Make use of your cooldowns. Plan your crimes so you never wait unnecessarily.
  • Keep your health up. A failed crime costs health; recover in the hospital so you can keep going.
  • Play every day. A fixed daily round of crimes stacks up your successful count the fastest.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between crime rank and regular rank?

Your regular rank is about XP and rises through almost every action in the game. Your crime rank is purely about the number of successful crimes you have committed and is separate from it.

Do failed crimes count toward my crime rank?

No. Only successful crimes count. A failed attempt does not bring you closer to the next rank, so succeeding reliably matters more than gambling a lot.

What is the highest crime rank?

Crime King is the highest rank, right at the top of the list. The exact number of successful crimes you need for it is shown live in the table on this page.

Does a higher crime rank raise my success rate?

No: your crime rank itself has no effect on your success rate or on which crimes you can play. What does count: your regular rank (XP-based) gives a success bonus and unlocks heavier crimes, and your personal experience with a specific crime (previous successes and failures) raises your chance at it further. Your crime rank remains mainly your status symbol and pays out a reward with every promotion.

Does my crime rank help with organized crime?

Not directly: OC operations have requirements for your regular rank (XP), not your crime rank. But because every successful crime also earns XP, committing lots of crimes does help you reach the rank needed for the bigger heists faster, and your crime rank rises automatically along the way as a by-product.
