Organized Crime Operations: How Heists Scale
How difficulty, loot, duration and henchman costs scale automatically with the number of roles you choose for your heist.
Organized crime no longer has a fixed list of operations: as the leader, you build your own heist by choosing 2 to 7 roles (the Driver is always required). Everything scales automatically with that number: the more roles, the tougher and the more lucrative the job.
What scales
- Difficulty: a small crew of 2 (for example Driver + Robber) is comparable to the old "gas station robbery"; a full crew of 7 is comparable to the old "bank robbery", but with even more roles on board.
- Minimum rank: bigger heists require a higher rank before you can open a room.
- Loot (min./max.) and XP: both grow considerably as you add more roles.
- Duration: count on roughly 1 minute per chosen role; a crew of 5 takes about 5 minutes.
- Henchman costs: deliberately kept within an affordable range, even with a big crew.
Roles to choose from
Besides the required Driver, you can freely choose from Robber, Safecracker, Lookout, Gunman, Hitman and Escape Artist. Every role counts toward your crew's average skill; the Safecracker naturally weighs slightly heavier than the other roles.
See Organized crime for the full guide to roles, henchmen, gear and rewards.
