The hospital: found in the country menu: brings your health back up. You lose health, also called HP, from failed crimes, fights and murder attempts. And with low HP you are vulnerable: you lose fights more easily, you become an attractive target for other players and you risk a robbery or hit on you succeeding. That is why the hospital is not a place you visit now and then, but a fixed part of your routine once you are actively diving into the underworld.

Treatment: how it works

Healing is simple. You choose how much HP you want to restore, or click heal fully to return to maximum health in one go. The cost is a simple sum: price per HP × amount of HP. So if you want to restore ten points, you pay ten times the price per HP. If you do not have enough cash for a full treatment, you automatically heal as much as you can afford at that moment: you never get stuck for lack of money, you simply recover partially.

The price per HP differs by country

The price per HP is set by the owner of the hospital, within fixed limits. If the hospital still belongs to the house (no owner), the standard country price applies. Because different countries charge different rates, it can really pay off to heal elsewhere when you need to restore a lot of HP. A short flight to a country with a lower rate quickly pays for itself when the treatment is big. So compare the price per HP before you get patched up in an expensive hospital.

Owning the hospital

The hospital is a property you can buy. As the owner you set the treatment price yourself (within the limits) and collect the till. Every patient who heals in your hospital fills your coffers: a form of passive income that grows with the activity in your country. In a country with lots of fighting and killing, a constant stream of wounded players comes through the doors, and you earn from every one of them. You manage it via My Properties, where you adjust the price and collect the money that has built up.
