Power Balance: Fair Growth in the Shop
Power Balance makes bought Power and Defence give less once you're far above the server average, keeping the road to the top fair for everyone, while training and missions always give 100%.
What is Power Balance?
Power Balance is the fairness system behind the Shop: it makes sure that players who are already far above the server average get a little less out of new Power and Defence purchases than players who are still building up. That way the underworld stays climbable for everyone, even if you start later than the rest, without the earliest investors ever becoming untouchable.
It's not a punishment and not a bug: it's a deliberate, constantly adjusting brake that only applies to bought stats, never to what you earn with time and effort.
How it works, in plain English
Every time you buy Power or Defence in the Shop, the game compares your current stat with the average of all active players at that moment. Are you still below or around that average? Then you simply get the full, normal yield. Are you already well above it? Then the same purchase gives a bit less stat, and the further ahead you are, the stronger that reduction gets.
That average isn't a fixed number: it grows along with the whole server. As more players get stronger, the bar moves up too, so this system automatically keeps pace with how BELLOCCO develops.
Who is affected?
Everyone, in exactly the same way: it's not a player-specific penalty. A brand-new player who has just started is still far below the average and gets the full yield on every purchase, which makes it easier to catch up quickly. Once that same player later becomes one of the strongest on the server, exactly the same brake applies to them as it does to the leading pack now.
The purchase card in the Shop always shows the real number of points a purchase gives you: that number is always correct, even when Power Balance has adjusted it. See a small info icon next to it? That simply means you're currently above the average.
Training always stays at 100%
Power Balance only affects bought Power and Defence: through the Shop, the diamond shop or a pack from the store. Every other way to get stronger always stays at full strength, no matter how high you already are:
- Training in the Shop: free, only costs time, always 100% yield.
- Rewards from crimes, daily tasks, weekly challenges and achievements.
- Loot from Crack the Vault, events and the login bonus.
If you'd rather not pay for stats, or simply don't have cash to spare right now, these routes let you keep building your Power and Defence steadily, without any dampening.
VIP and the shop daily limit
Separately from Power Balance, there is also a daily limit on how much Power and Defence you can buy per day, which resets every night. VIP players get a much higher daily limit than regular players, on top of the standard cap. Note: that higher limit is about how much you can buy per day, not about the yield per purchase. Power Balance still applies separately, including to VIPs who are already far above the average.

Why did I get less Power/Defence than I expected?
Most likely you were already far above the server average for that stat when you bought it. The number on your purchase card in the Shop always shows exactly what you would get, so it's never wrong, even if it feels like less than you're used to.
Is this a bug or is it built this way on purpose?
On purpose. Power Balance exists specifically to prevent early or big investors from staying untouchable forever, so new players have a realistic path to catch up.
Does this also apply to my free stats from training and missions?
No. Training, crimes, daily tasks, weekly challenges, achievements and all other free sources always stay at 100% yield, whatever your standing.
Does the average this system looks at change?
Yes, constantly. The average is recalculated regularly across all active players, so it automatically moves up as the whole server gets stronger.
Can I see whether Power Balance applies to me right now?
