Owning districts is one of the most powerful things your family can do. It is not just a passive cash flow for the shared treasury: every district also gives a unique, lasting perk to every single member of your family, for as long as you hold the turf. This article explains it from the family's point of view; for the exact conquest mechanics and the spots inside each district, see Map.
Turf is power
You own and defend districts through the Map: the real world map of BELLOCCO. Every district your family owns gives you two things: a passive hourly income for the family bank, and a district perk that automatically applies to every member.
23 unique perks, no duplicates
There are 23 districts, and each one gives exactly one perk you cannot get anywhere else: no two districts share the same system. Examples include higher earnings in the Red Light District, bigger casino payouts, more loot from a business raid, a higher chance to break out of jail yourself, or extra attack power in family fights. Each perk is usually around 6% strong. Own several districts and all those perks apply to the whole family at the same time.
Check it under "Districts & perks"
On the Districts & perks page (/familie-wijken), found in the game menu under your family, you see in one overview:
- How many districts your family owns, and the maximum you are allowed (by default there is no maximum, unless the server staff set one).
- The total hourly district income for the family bank, plus the extra combat bonus (%) your territory gives you in fights.
- Every active perk, with its exact bonus.
- A list of all districts you own, with country, perk and income per district.
District income is automatically added to the family treasury every full hour. If nobody from the family visits for a long time, that income builds up for a maximum of 48 hours: after that the unused surplus is lost, so do not let it pile up too long.
Taking or conquering a district
You always claim and conquer districts on the Map itself, not on this page, and only the boss or underboss can do it (and not while sitting in jail). An unclaimed district is yours instantly and for free: no showdown, 100% chance, as long as you meet the role and cooldown requirements. A district that already belongs to another family is conquered through a power showdown based on the combined strength of all members (the same formula as in family war). The holder's defense also counts their walls, and the success chance always sits between 10% and 90%: never guaranteed, not even with a huge advantage. You cannot conquer a district owned by an ally. After every attempt, successful or not, the whole family has a regroup time of 30 minutes before you can try again.
Why districts matter more than they seem
It is tempting to look only at the hourly income, but the real value lies in the perks. A district with modest income but a perk that perfectly fits your family's play style is often worth far more than the district with the highest income. Choose your targets strategically: which bonuses strengthen what your family does most?
Frequently asked questions
Where do I claim or conquer a district?
On the Map: that is where you find the world map with all districts and the button to conquer or claim. Only the boss or underboss can start this.
Where can I see which perks my family has?
On the in-game "Districts & perks" page (/familie-wijken), found in the menu under your family.
Can two districts give the same perk?
No, every district has a unique perk. There are 23 districts and 23 different bonuses, each usually around 6% strong.
Is there a limit to how many districts a family can own?
Not by default: a family can own unlimited districts. The server staff can set a maximum, though; if so, you will see it on the "Districts & perks" page next to the number you already own.
Is a conquest guaranteed if I am much stronger?
No. The success chance depends on the combined power of both families (including the defender's walls), but always sits between 10% and 90%, so a small chance of losing always remains.
