The main difference with almost everything else in the game: performance count life sentiment. Your season progress — rank, money, drugs, heat — is reset to zero with each season reset. Not your performance counters. Every crime, every liquidity, every rubbery you've ever committed continuouss to count, season after season. Only the staff can manually erase performance via a loose, explicit option with a full game reset — in the normal season transition, they always remain intact.
That makes achievements the real, permanent evidence of you emergence in the underworld — where badges and the season pass per season again start.

From petty thief to myth: how the tiers rise
Inside each category runs a series of 6 up to 17 tiers, with increasing thresholds and increasing titles. Take the category Crimes: you starts if Petty thief at 10 crimes (reward: cash), grows via Career criminal (100 crimes) and Master criminal (1.000 crimes, still always cash) to heavier titles if Underworld king (150.000 crimes, diamonds) and eventually the absolute top performance Myth of the city at 500.000 crimes.
The same buildup is shown at Murders: First Blood after your first liquidity, Serial Killer in 50 mudders, and all the way up to Immortal sniper in 10.000 walls. Also narrower, faster categories like Safe codes have this structure: Code cracker at your first cracked safe, up to Master of the codes at 500 safes.
The reward slides automatic along with the tier: the first half of each series pays off in cash, afterwards in power and bullets, and the last, heaviest tiers turn diamonds off — with the heaviest achievement of a category always if thickest (but capped) diamond reward.
