Gym: all exercises
All gym exercises in a row: Pressing, Running and Bicycles build HS through the power meter minigame, with a shared recovery time per exercise.
With Gym Train a separate stat: HS (handshake strength). That's not the same as Power of Defence HS only counts in Sports school duels, the arm wrestling games against other players. There are three exercises that all three build up the same stat, but with a different yield and recovery time. Below the complete overview.
All exercises in a row
| Exercise | HS per set | Recovery time |
|---|---|---|
| Press | 2 minutes | |
| Running | 3 | 5 minutes |
| Bicycles | 6 | 10 minutes |
The heavier the exercise, the more HS you win per set... but also the longer you have to recover afterwards. And that "rejoin" is shared: Whatever exercise you choose, the recovery time of that exercise subsequently pertains to all three. Choose your Bicycles, then you can only do a set after 10 minutes, even if you choose Print.
The power meter: your timing counts
The values in the table above are the Basic profit What you actually write depends on the forcemeter: a pointer moving back and forth over a beam. Click PRESS! as soon as the pointer is in the green zone. The closer you get to the center of that zone, the higher your precision and your precision will scale the profit:
- Clicked next to it Your winnings quickly decline towards ×0.6 of the base value.
- Somewhere in the zone A precision between 65% and 100%, with a corresponding profit.
- Perfect center clicked 100% precision, up to ×1,4 of the basic profit.
You'll get on top of that. Health: your profit is multiplied by your health rate (100% HP = full profit, 50% HP = half profit), and you have minimal 10% health necessary for training. The VIP benefit Better training count there again 50% On top. A perfect Bicycle Set on full health with VIP consequently results in a multiple of a sloppy Printing Set on half health.
Which exercise should I choose?
Because the recovery time is shared, the choice is mainly a matter of rhythm:
- Many and often online? Pressing (2 minutes rest) lets you most often do a set.
- You'd rather stop by a few times an hour? Cycling (10 minutes rest, 6-10 HS) gives the highest yield per set.
- In between? Running (5 minutes, 3-5 HS) is the middle road.
The real difference in your final HS growth is less in which exercise you choose, and more in your timing on the power meter and you Health training.
Strategy and tips
- Target the middle of the green zone. That's the biggest button you can turn yourself on, bigger than the difference between the exercises.
- Train only with a (almost) full health bar. Well, training hurts costs a lot of your winnings.
- Choose your exercise based on your rhythm, not only on the highest basic profit... the shared recovery time makes the difference smaller than it seems.
- HS is pure for the ring. Don't expect any effect on your chances of murder, fighting or family wars. The Winkel.
Frequently asked questions
Are all the exercises building up the same stats?
Yes. Printing, Running and Bicycles increase all three HS (handshake strength). There is no separate power or defence exercise at Gym.
Which exercise gives the most per set?
Bicycles, with 6 to 10 HS per set... but also with the longest recovery time (10 minutes). Printing gives 1 to 3 HS with only 2 minutes rest.
Is the recovery time per exercise separate?
No, the recovery time is shared. After training with a random exercise, you have to sit out the recovery time of that exercise before you can train again, regardless of which exercise you choose afterwards.
How does the timing work when exercising?
A hand moves over a beam; click at the right time in the green zone. The closer to the center, the higher your precision and the closer your profit gets to ×1.4 of the base value. Clicking far away will decrease your profit towards ×0.6.
What do I use HS for?
Only for Sports School duels it determines your weight class and win chance in those PvP competitions. For attempted murder, fighting and family wars, Power and Defence counts, which you train or buy separately through De Winkel.
