The Fight Cage: live 1v1 duels and the box tournament
Live fights against real players: challenge, stake and strike at the right moment. Every Friday the box tournament.
You find the Fight Cage in the Underworld district. Here you fight live against real players: 1 vs 1, 2 vs 2 or 3 vs 3. Not a simulated attack like Attacks, but a fight on reflexes. The page has the tabs The Cage, Training, Box Tournament and Statistics.
Train on the punching bag
On the Training tab you hit the punching bag with timing combos. That builds your fighting strength. Fighting strength decides how hard every punch lands in the cage and weighs heavily in the box tournament.
Starting a fight
- Pick the mode (1 vs 1, 2 vs 2 or 3 vs 3) and a stake per fighter (0 = free practice).
- Click Create fight. Your fight is now listed under Open fights; others join team A or team B.
- Once both teams are full, everyone marks themselves ready and the challenger starts the fight.
You need at least 10 health, and you cannot fight from jail or during a flight. Leave the cage while still in the lobby and you get your stake back.
How to win
A fight lasts 45 seconds. Wait for the golden STRIKE NOW signal and strike at the right moment: the better your timing, the harder the punch. Hitting too early or falling for a red feint gives you a short block. The damage of every punch depends on your timing and your fighting strength. Work together: hit within 3 seconds after a teammate and your punch counts as a combo (x1.3). The team with the most damage wins.
Stake and reward
Your stake goes into the pot when you join. The winning team shares the full pot: nothing goes to the house. In a draw everyone gets their stake back. Winners get 25 XP, losers 8 XP. With a stake of 0 you fight for XP and practice.
Box tournament on Friday (Fight Night)
You can sign up for the Box Tournament all week. Every Friday at 20:00 the cage doors close: the bracket is drawn (with an odd number someone gets a bye) and the knockout rounds then resolve by themselves every 5 minutes until one champion is left. At least 2 fighters are needed. The result leans on your fighting strength with a healthy dose of fighter's luck: an underdog can always pull off an upset.
By default the champion wins €500,000 plus 100 XP and 2 respect, the runner-up €200,000. Both receive a message and a push notification, and the champion enters the Hall of Fame on the Box Tournament tab.
Fair play
All damage, timing and limits are calculated server-side. Clicking faster than allowed gets you nothing (at least 1.2 seconds between two punches) and suspiciously perfect streaks are checked.
Tips
- Practice with a stake of 0 first to learn the rhythm of the signal.
- Train on the punching bag regularly: more fighting strength means harder punches and better odds in the tournament.
- Play on a stable connection: the cage measures your reaction in milliseconds.
