Prison outbreak
A real capo late to be people not rot away behind the bars. On the Prison-page (tab Behind the bars) busy you on "Break off" to a fellow inmate loose too pry loose — a fellow player or a of the notorious Npc crooks that there always be stuck. Succeeds the, than pack you the honor and the respect. Failed the, than turn you maybe self the cell in. Below read you exactly how the crack chance becomes calculated, what a breakout yields and how you there always better in becomes.
This is how an outbreak works
- Choosing target: each priest has his own chance of cracking, especially depending on how long he has to sit.
- Attem: you set the crack in motion; The outcome rolls directly.
- Cooling time: between two attempts is a short cooldown, so endless rams are not included.
Calculate Kraakkans
Your chance to crack is a sum of a time base and a personal bonus, always bordered between 5% and 95% — there's no such thing as a guaranteed crack.
The Time Base
The most important factor is how long the prisoner still must to sit. Flat before release lies the time basis standard around the 58% and per remaining minute sinks he with such a 4,5%, up to a low lower limit at long, heavy guarded punish (all values adjustable). Someone that almost free is, jump you there so so off; a fresh punishment crack is life-threatening.
Your personal bonus
- Skill (max +35%): grows with your successful outbreaks and your strength (power), with decreasing yield — the first steps count the hardest.
- Respect bonus (max +18%): the more prominent you have, the more flexible the guards look away.
An experienced breaker with a lot of respect is thus effortlessly taping the 95% boiling with near-free targets.
Successful reward
- +0,5 respect per freed prisoner (default) — that's how you build your reputation.
- XP and seasonal points — every successful crack counts for the running season.
- With a successful co-op rescue of a fellow player you also get cash and XP from a variable bandwidth (no more fixed amount) — see below.
- Chance of a tuning component — sometime something valuable falls out of the crack.
- Progress for achievements, day tasks, week challenges and tournaments.
- If you break out a fellow player, that will get the news — free advertising for your reputation.
Your successful cracks also count on the Toppers tab: the breaks of the day.
The risk of failure
An outbreak is betting. If the attempt fails, there is a chance of being caught that you will be arrested and put behind bars — and that chance of getting caught goes up the way your chance of cracking was. So a desperate 10% chance of success is twice as dangerous: Either you fail, or you'll be there in a minute. Aim for practitioners who are almost free, then you keep the risk low and build up safe skill.
Co-op rescue: free your mate
In addition to the regular crack, there is the targeted rescue of a real player — the way to get a friend or relative back on the street. It works differently:
- The rescue is free — pure chance-based, like cracking an NPC. No more bribes in advance.
- The success rate = an adjustable base + your cracking skill − heavier monitoring as your size has to sit still longer.
- Blood liberates blood: you share the same family, you get a big bonus (standard +15%).
- Reward at success: cash and XP roles both off a bandwidth in place of a fixed amount — standard cash between roughly €8.000 and €50.000, and XP between 6 and such a 10, each time random inside that margin. No two rescues to be so exactly equal.
- The rescue has a own cooling time (default 5 minutes), separate from the normal squatting cooldown.
- Anti-multiaccount: linked accounts cannot free each other.
Being stuck?
If you're behind bars yourself, you can't break anyone out — but you can do escape yourself, directly from the cell screen on each page. That's a separate gamble with its own formula and a punishment for failure; read all about it in Prison — sit or break out.
Tips for more successful outbreaks
- Focus on targets that are almost free — there the time base is highest and the chance of failure is lower.
- Continuous to break out consistently: Any successful squat increases your skill bonus forever.
- Work on you power at Handshake and on you respect — both count on at each heist.
- Plan your thoughts around active day tasks, week challenges and tournaments for double wins.
- Free family members with the rescue: The family bonus makes the difference, and a teammate on the street is worth more than the bribe.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is my chance to crack calculated?
Time base (standard ~58% just before release, falling by ~4,5% per maintaining minute) plus your personal bonus out of skill (max +35%) and respect (max +18%), always limited between 5% and 95%.
What's the maximum chance of cracking?
95%, hard. Even the best breaker always keeps a residual risk — the underworld knows no certainty.
What's a successful outbreak?
Standard+0,5 respect, XP and seasonal points, chance of a tuning part, and progress for performance, day tasks, week challenges and tournaments.
What happens if an outbreak fails?
There's a chance you're going to jail yourself — and it's higher the lower your chance of cracking. So low chances only if you can bear the risk.
What's the difference to the co-op rescue?
The rescue is a targeted free liberalisation of a real player with its own formula, own cooling time and a family bonus of standard +15% if you share the same family. The reward for success (cash and XP) is a variable bandwidth instead of a fixed amount.
