Prison: serving time or breaking out

Got it? The cell screen follows you on each page: Live countdown cell time, live runaway success and the button "Take an escape." Failed = cell time extended.

The prison is where you end up if a criminal action fails and you get caught at crimes, auto theft, drug deals, a failed smuggling run Or an attack in the wrong country. During your time in prison, your criminal actions stand still as your rivals continue. The prison page has two tabs: Behind the bars (the prisoners of this moment, including yourself) and Toppers (the best breakers).

The cell screen: Your cell travels with you

If you're stuck, you'll see crime, murder, detective on every action page. cell screen. That's more than a wall of bars:

  • One live countdown cell time You see the seconds ticking away.
  • One live live success The less time you have left, the higher your chances, and the percentage runs before your eyes.
  • The button "Take an escape" So you don't have to go to the prison page first; You can escape from any place where your cell screen appears.

And once the counter is at zero, the page automatically loads: You'll be right outside, ready to move on where you left off.

Seating time

The duration of your sentence depends on what you got caught for. In a common crime or car theft, you usually sit one to seven minutes solid; drug dealing and smuggling can reach 8 to 10 minutes, and anyone seen with a gun during an attack in the wrong country risks even eight to sixteen minutes The worst punishment in the game. The exact margins are fixed per crime and can be adjusted separately. Sitting out is the safe option: You don't do anything, but you don't lose anything else. For those who had to leave the screen, patience is sometimes the smartest choice.

Escape yourself: the gambling

Waiting is for good citizens. Via the button on your cell screen you can venture a own escape. Your success depends on:

  • The remaining cell time The base is standard about 40% just before release (adjustable) and drops per remaining minute. So you rarely escape a fresh, long sentence.
  • Your personal bonus Your break-out skill (successful outbreaks + strength) and your respect count partly. Escape is consciously more difficult than liberating another: You're the one being guarded.
  • The ceiling The probability is limited (maximum 80%): There is no guaranteed escape.

Pass., then you immediately stand outside and earn your respect, XP and season points and sometimes you get the news. Fails, then you get caught and your cell time extended with a penalty (standard half your remaining time, with a minimum). That makes it a real guess: With an almost past sentence, the profits are small, with a fresh sentence, the chances are low but the time savings are huge. Between attempts there is a short cooling time.

Others break out

On the tab Behind the bars You see all the prisoners: fellow players and notorious NPC thugs. Behind each name there is a "Break out" button with the calculated chance to free cracks, which gives respect, XP and seasonal points, but in a failure the guard can take you in. The full story, including the formula and the co-op rescue of friends, read in prison outbreak.

Toppers

The tab Toppers Shows the best break-ins who wrote the most successful cracks in his name today. A fine target for the ambitious escape artist.

Tips for the cell

  • Count before you dare. The chance of a live beating runs up as your sentence gets shorter.
  • Build your breakout skills by consistently breaking out (others); Every successful crack counts in all your future opportunities.
  • Respect helps everywhere Also the guards look away for a big name.
  • Prevention is better than sitting: Stop risky actions if you've run into the light a lot.
