Frequently asked questions
What is Fair Play and why does it exist?
The Fair Play system guards fair play: for example, it detects suspicious multi-account behavior (such as several accounts from the same address favoring each other) and blocks actions between those accounts where needed.
Can I have multiple accounts?
Multiple accounts from the same household are allowed, but they may not unfairly benefit each other (for example by moving money or loot between your own accounts). This is detected and blocked automatically.
What happens if I'm caught cheating?
Depending on the severity, it can lead to a warning, a temporary or permanent restriction of features, or in serious cases an account ban: see the Game Rules for the full explanation.
How do I report another player?
On the Support page you can file a report with details about the suspected abuse: the game team reviews every report.
Is my data stored safely?
Yes, personal data is processed in line with the Privacy Policy, with appropriate technical and organizational security measures.
What happens to my data if I delete my account?
You can permanently delete your account yourself via Settings → Delete account (confirm with your password and the word VERWIJDEREN). Your player data, including profile photos and related files, is permanently deleted in line with the Privacy Policy; only your username stays permanently reserved so nobody else can claim it.
Why do I sometimes get a short puzzle (anti-bot check)?
To keep out bots and auto-clickers, the game may very occasionally show you a short puzzle during actions like crimes, training or smuggling. During normal play this rarely happens, and you're through it in a few seconds. VIP players are exempt from these checks.
