Chat: Talk Live with Other Players in BELLOCCO

What is the chat?

With the chat you talk live with the rest of BELLOCCO, without leaving the page you're on. The chat panel sits as a separate little window at the bottom right of the screen and can be reached anywhere in the game: during a crime, in the Shop or on your way to your next target.

Three channels: Global, Family and Friends

• Global: everyone who is online at that moment, in one shared channel. Handy for quick questions, small talk or getting a feel for the vibe.
• Family: only visible to members of your family. Ideal for coordinating an attack or just catching up with your crew.
• Friends: private messages (DMs) with your friends, separate from the other two channels and only visible to the two of you.

Your last opened tab is remembered, so if you switch pages in between, the chat is right where you left it when you come back.

Reply, forward, edit & delete

Every message has a few quick actions on hover:

• Reply: respond directly to a specific message, with a clear reference above it.
• Forward: forward a message from Global or Family to a friend in one go.
• Edit & delete: you can edit or remove your own messages afterwards; staff can do this for any message when needed.

Notifications: never miss a message

As soon as something new arrives in a channel you don't have open, a notification badge appears on the chat button and on the matching tab. That way you see at a glance whether there's something to read, without having to check all the time.

Clickable names: start a conversation fast

Click someone's name in Global or Family and you instantly open a private conversation with that player through the Friends tab: handy for discussing something out of sight of the rest, or just for quickly reaching out to a new face.

VIP perk: a golden name that stands out

With a VIP account, your name appears in gold with a small crown in front of it in the chat, and everywhere else in the game. A small detail, but it makes you stand out instantly among all the messages.

Where do I find the chat?

Through the round chat button at the bottom right of the screen, on every page of the game. One click opens the panel with the three channels.

Can I chat privately with someone who isn't a friend?

Direct DMs only work with friends. If you click someone's name in Global or Family, that player is automatically suggested as a friend so you can chat afterwards.

Can I undo an accidentally deleted message?

No, deleting is permanent. Editing is possible, though, if you'd rather change the message than remove it.

Can my family see my DMs with friends?

No. Friends DMs are only visible to you and the recipient, completely separate from the Family channel.

Why does a name have a golden color and a crown?

That's a VIP player. The golden name and crown are a visible VIP perk that shows everywhere in the game, including the chat.
