Power balance: fair growth in the shop

What is Power Balance?

Power Balance is the honesty system behind the Winkel: it ensures that players already far above the average of the server have less left to new Power and Defence Purchases Then players still have to build. Thus, the underworld remains climbable to everyone even if you start later than the rest of the world without anyone first investing ever becoming untouchable.

It's not a punishment and not a bug: it is a conscious, always moving brake that only pertains to purchased stats, never on what you earn with time and effort.

How it works, in plain language

Every time you buy Power of Defence in the Store, the game compares your current stat to the average of all active players at that time. Are you still below or around that average? Then you just get the full, normal return. Are you way out of it? Then the same purchase delivers a little less statis on...........................

That average is not a fixed number: It grows with the entire server. As more players get stronger, the bar slides up, so this system automatically moves along with how BELLOCCO develops.

Who's gonna deal with this?

Everyone, in exactly the same way, it's not a player-specific punishment. A brand new player who just started is still far below the average and consequently benefits from the full return on each purchase, which makes it easier to quickly find connection. As soon as the same player subsequently becomes one of the strongest of the server, he or she will have exactly the same inhibition as the leading group.

On your purchase ticket in the Winkel you always see the real number of points that a purchase will give you. Is there a little info sign next to it? Then that simply means you're above average right now.

Training is always 100%

Power Balance only purchased Power and Defence via the Winkel, the diamond shop or a package from the shop. All other ways to get stronger are always at full power, no matter how high you are:

• Training in the Shop free, only takes time, always 100% proceeds.
• Rewards crimes, daily tasks, week challenges and performance.
• Takeout crack the vault, events and login bonus.

Those who prefer not to pay for stats, or simply have no cash left over, continue to build their Power and Defence through these routes and without any dampening.

VIP and shop day limit

Apart from Power Balance, there is also a daily limit on how much Power and Defence you can buy per day to maximum that reset every night. VIP-players get a much higher daily limit than regular players, at the top of the standard limit. Note: that higher limit says something about how many you can buy per day, not about the return per purchase Power Balance remains independent of this, even for VIPs that are already well above average.

Frequently asked questions

Why did I get less Power/Defence than I expected?

Probably at the time of purchase you were way above the server average for that stat. The number on your purchase ticket in the Winkel always shows exactly what you would get so that is never wrong, even though it feels less than you were used to.

Is this a bug or built on purpose?

Express. Power Balance specifically exists to prevent early or large investors from remaining untouchable forever, so that new players have a realistic path to connect.

Does this also apply to my free stats from training and missions?

No. Training, crimes, day jobs, week challenges, performance and all other free resources are always at 100% return, whatever your stand is.

Does the average change what this system is looking at?

Yeah, all the time. The average is regularly recalculated over all active players, so it automatically slides along as the entire server gets stronger.

Can I see if Power Balance applies to me now?

Yes. The purchase card in the Winkel always shows the real number of points you get, and a small info sign will appear as soon as it is updated by Power Balance.
