Map — conquering neighborhoods, neighbourhood benefits & spots
The Map is the real world map of BELLOCCO: The city is divided into districts, spread all over the world, and each district is in turn filled with individual spots that players own and expand. Those who control the district collect passive income and a unique advantage for the whole family. It is the territorial heart of the game: The bigger your area, the greater your power.
The folder — neighbourhoods around the world
Open the Map and you will see a real world map with a pin per neighborhood, from Amsterdam to Tokyo. Move over a pin for a quick overview: which family controls the neighborhood (district boss), how many spots there are and how much income the neighborhood yields per hour. Click on a district for the full detail page, with a zoomed-in cutout of that same world map so you can see exactly where the neighborhood is, plus all the spots in it.
Conquering a neighbourhood
You take an empty neighborhood directly — no need to fight. If a neighbourhood is already owned by another family, it is a showdown: The same formula as family war, based on the added power of all members of both families. The stronger your family as a whole, the greater your chances of winning.
- Only the boss and underboss of a family can a conquest start.
- After each attempt applies a regrouping time of 30 minutes for you family for you again can conquer.
- A newly checked neighborhood succinctly enjoys a temporal protection window against new minds.
- The more spots already owns your family in a neighbourhood, the stronger you stand in a conquest of that same area — so first build foot to the ground before attacking the neighborhood itself.
Neighbourhood benefits — 23 unique bonuses
Each district gives the owning family exactly one, unique advantage — no two districts share the same system. As long as your family holds the neighborhood, the bonus applies to every member, automatically, without having to do anything for it. Think of a higher return on crime, higher casino payouts, more loot in a rubbery, a higher chance to escape the cell, or extra assault or defense force in family fights. If you own several neighborhoods, then the bonuses pile up — all that little adoption on top of the system the neighborhood is about.
Go to Territorial & neighbourhood benefits for the complete family-oriented exploration, or in-game check out the "Dials & Benefits" page to see which bonuses your family currently has.
Presence — who has the most spots?
Each area detail page shows a "presence" overview: Which family currently owns the most spots in that area. This is purely informative — it doesn't automatically make a family a neighborhood boss, it still goes through a real conquest. However, a high presence is a strong signal that that family can seriously claim the district soon.
Spots within a neighbourhood — your own pawns
Within each neighborhood are loose spots that players individually own and expand — this is the layer you're working on every day.
- Unoccupied spots conquer. A free spot buy you not just like that for a fixed price — there sits a small "guard" on that you must bomb to the over too take, just if at the attacks of a rival. You have so a plane needed, also for you very first spot.
- Busy spot attacks. You take over a spot of a rival by taking it down with enough bombs. Each bombing has a chance of a miss, and a chance of judgment or jury — it's not a free job.
- Build. Set properties on your own spot to increase income.
- Walls & repairers. Protect your mockery with walls that add additional HP, and use repairers to repair damage after an attack.
- Protection window. As with neighborhoods, a newly checked spot enjoys temporal protection against a new attack.
Move on the area-detail page about one of the dots in the zoomed-in card for the status of that spot: owner, family, relationship to you, condition (HP) and number of properties.
Tips & Strategy
- Get a plane before you start your first spot — you can't bomb without a plane, not even against an unoccupied spot.
- Build presence in a neighborhood with an advantage that suits your playing style before you try to compare the neighborhood yourself.
- Defend actively. Walls and repairers are not luxury — an undefended mockery is an easy target.
- Don't spread your attention too thin. A few well protected spots in a neighbourhood with a strong advantage is often better than anywhere a little.
