The Pit: weekly PvP ladder and knockout tournament

The Pit is a weekly PvP competition: you climb the ladder by beating other players, and on Sunday the top players battle it out in a knockout tournament for the championship.

Registering and the ladder

Register at any time; you're placed on the ladder at a spot that fits your current Power + Defence. Every Monday the entire ladder is reseeded based on your current Power + Defence. Fight other players (up to 3 fights a day) to pass them on the ladder: beat someone ranked above you and you take their spot.

The fight

Fights in The Pit use the same Power/Defence system as a regular attack, with a full round-by-round log you can watch back. Winning pays out cash, respect and XP, plus points for your Season Pass.

The Sunday tournament

On Sunday the ladder closes and a knockout tournament starts with the top-ranked players: the bigger the ladder, the more spots qualify. The bracket plays out in rounds over the day until one champion remains.

Prizes

The champion, runner-up and third place get a solid prize in cash, respect and XP, plus a bonus resource that rotates every week. Once the ladder is big enough, the top 25 and top 50 also get rewarded. Everyone who took part gets a message with the result once it wraps up.
