The Pit: Weekly PvP Ladder and Knockout Tournament

The Pit is a weekly PvP competition: you climb the ladder by beating other players, and on Sunday the top of the ladder battles for the championship in a knockout tournament.

Signing up and the ladder

Sign up at any time; you are placed on the ladder at a spot that matches your current Power + Defence. Every Monday the whole ladder is reseeded based on everyone's current Power + Defence. Fight other players (up to 3 fights per day) to overtake them on the ladder: beat someone ranked above you and you take their spot.

The fight

Fights in The Pit use the same Power and Defence system as a normal attack, with a full round-by-round report you can watch back live. Winning earns cash, respect and XP, plus points for your Battlepass.

The Sunday tournament

On Sunday the ladder closes and a knockout tournament starts with the highest-ranked players: the bigger the ladder, the more spots in the tournament. The bracket plays out in rounds over the day until one champion is left.

Prizes

The champion, runner-up and third place win a big prize in cash, respect and XP, plus a bonus resource that changes every week. If the ladder is big enough, the top 25 and top 50 are rewarded too. Everyone who took part gets a message with the results afterwards.
