The Stock market is your passive investment layer over the ordinary economy of BELLOCCO. Instead of leaving cash in your pocket, you invest a part of your Bank balance in fictitious Bellocco companies and profit (or lose) with their course movements. No minigame, no timing-bar just buy, hold, spread and sell at the right time.
Investing from your bank balance, not your cash
Important to know: The Stock Market works with you bankNot with your cash. Money that you invest will be written off from your bank, and sales proceeds will be returned to your bank. So get your money to the bank Transferred before you invest.
How do you buy and sell shares?
You don't buy "all" shares like on a real stock exchange, but a fraction of a share of....as much as your deposit is worth at the current rate. Simply choose an amount in euros and you will get a proportionate amount of (fractional) shares. Selling works the other way around: You choose how many shares (or all at once) you cancel, and the proceeds are credited to your bank in whole euros.
- Buy Please enter an amount, the amount goes from your bank, you receive the corresponding (fractional) shares at the current rate.
- Sales Sell part or all of your shares of a company; the proceeds (rounded down to whole euros) will come to your bank.
- Watchlist You follow a company without investing in it, so you can keep track of the course before you board.
How do the rates move?
Courses do not move randomly back and forth every company has its own trend which lasts for a while (as with a real market, a price can keep moving in the same direction for a number of taps), combined with small, soft fluctuations. Occasionally, a "news event" provides a bigger jump in course. There is deliberately a hard limit on how much a price can change in one movement (up to 8% per tap), so that the market remains exciting without becoming completely unpredictable. A course can never go all the way to zero.
A new rate shall be calculated for each holding on a regular basis. On the Stock Market page you will see a counter that will count to the next price movement, plus a price chart per company so you can see the recent history.
However, the rate is not only determined by the autonomous tap: Every purchase or sale order of players pushes the price itself, as well as demand and offer on a real stock exchange. Buying pushes up the price for the next buyer, selling pushes him down for the next seller. The bigger your order, the bigger the impact, with a maximum per order so that a player cannot explode or collapse the market alone.
Why you can't put everything on one company
In order to prevent one player putting his entire power (or that of a handful of companies) on one card, there is a max position: you may have up to a fixed percentage of your own funds (bank balance + value of what you already own in that company) in a single company as standard 40%. That percentage is the same for everyone, but because it is calculated on your own capital, it scales maximum amount in euro automatically: the richer you are, the higher your ceiling in that one company in absolute euros, while the ratio remains the same for everyone. Thus large and small players are equally forced to spread about the 14 companies available, rather than putting everything on one map. There is also a bottom amount, so that a novice player with a modest bank balance can also invest a meaningful amount.

Course Messages & Auto Orders
Don't you want to spend the whole day at rates? Set a price report on a company's detail page: Choose whether the rate should rise to above or below an amount you choose, and what should happen.
- Send me a message You will receive a message in your inbox as soon as the border is reached, so that you can decide for yourself what to do.
- Automatically sell all my shares A real stop order: once the limit is reached, BELLOCCO automatically sells your entire position in that company and you get a confirmation in your inbox.
You will find all your active notifications and orders under the Course Notifications & auto orders tab on the Stock Market page, where you can also cancel them. Please note: You can have up to 1 active notification or order per company at once.
Tips & Strategy
- Spread your money. The max position rule forces it anyway, so make a habit of it: divide your inlays across several sectors instead of putting everything on your favorite business.
- Use the watchlist. Follow a few companies for a while before boarding, so you get a sense of their volatility and trend.
- Think about trends, not ticking. One red tap doesn't say much about the underlying trend takes multiple taps. Don't panic at the first drop.
- Combine with your bank interest rate. Money you don't invest just stays on you bank The stock market is a supplement, not a replacement.
