Donating Respect: Thank Players and the Appreciation List
Send your own respect to another player as a reward or a thank-you. Here are the rules, the limits and how the weekly Appreciation list works.
Did another player help you out, cover for you or simply play fair? Then you can thank them with your own respect. You do this on the Street Favors page (My Empire > Street Favors) in the Donate tab.
Why can you donate respect?
Respect is the reputation players build with each other. Donating is a way to show appreciation: a reward for help, a thank-you for a good fight or a gesture toward a player you want to see succeed. That turns respect into more than a number: it is also about the community.
How to donate
- Open the Donate tab.
- Enter the username and choose an amount, or tap one of the quick picks.
- Add a message if you like, or pick a ready-made thank-you.
- Confirm. The recipient gets a message with your name and your thank-you.
Rules and limits
- At least 10 respect per donation (default).
- Part of the amount is lost along the way (20% by default), so the recipient gets a little less than you send. This stops respect from being pumped around.
- You can send up to 500 respect per 24 hours (default).
- Both your account and the recipient's must be at least 3 days old (default).
- You cannot donate to yourself or to an account on the same network.

The Appreciation list
The Appreciation tab shows the most appreciated players of the past 7 days. The ranking is based first on how many different players thanked someone, and then on the amount of respect received. So the winner is not whoever has one generous donor, but whoever is appreciated by the most people. You can also see your own appreciation for this week.
Frequently asked questions
Why does the recipient get less than I send?
Part of it is deliberately removed from the game to prevent abuse and respect pumping.
Can I undo a donation?
No. Double-check the username before you confirm.
Does donated respect count toward my ranking?
Respect you send is deducted from your balance, and respect you receive is added to it. So received respect counts just like any other respect.
