Manage your BELLOCCO account entirely via Institutions (the gear in the menu). There you change your username and email address, set up your privacy and security, and you can even delete your entire account if you want. On this page you can read exactly how these account options work, what they cost and what to look for.

Change username

Looking out for your criminal name? Via Settings → Username & email You pick a new one. This is how it works:

• Costs: 10 Diamonds. The diamonds will not be written off until the change actually goes ahead.
• Your old name will be permanently reserved. No one can ever claim him again, nor a new player. That way, no one can pretend to be the old you after your name change.
• The new name 3-20 characters are (letters, numbers and underscores) and of course free and permitted: occupied, reserved or inappropriate names are refused.
• The change is directly active: Your profile, rankings and messages will immediately show your new name.

Change email address

Change your email address is free, but works with a confirmation step so that no one can simply take over the address of your account:

• You fill in your new address Settings → Username & email and confirms with you current password So no one can redirect your address with access to your session (e.g. via a shared device).
• There will be a confirmation link to new address Sent. Only after you click on it, your email address will really be changed until then your old address remains active.
• The link is 1 hour valid. If it expires, you simply ask for the change again; a new application automatically replaces the previous one.

Privacy and security

In Settings, you also determine what other players of your profile may see, such as your online status, playing time, statistics, possessions or family. Tick what you want to hide and it disappears for everyone but yourself. Delete account

If you want to stop permanently, then you can have your account delete yourself via Settings Delete account →. This is a heavy button, so there are two locks on it: You confirm with you password and by the word REMOVAL type.

• Unrecoverable and direct: As soon as you confirm, everything is immediately and permanently erased from your cash, bank, rank, possessions, family membership, messages and progress. There is no waiting time and no recovery option, not even through the staff.
• Your username remains permanently reserved, so that no one else can pretend to be you after you leave.
• Your player data (including profile photos and related files) will be permanently deleted in line with the Privacy Policy.

Frequently asked questions

How much does changing my username cost?

10 diamonds. The diamonds will not be written off until the change succeeds; a denied name costs nothing. Your old name will then remain permanently reserved.

Can anyone else claim my old username?

No, never. After a name change (and even after account deletion), your username will be permanently reserved so that no one can pose as you.

Is changing my email address free?

Yes. You confirm with your password and get a confirmation link to your new address; Only after clicking on it will the change be active. The link is valid for 1 hour and a new application replaces the previous one.

How do I delete my account?

Delete account via Settings →. You confirm with your password and by typing REMOVAL. The disposal is immediate and irreversible: Everything is permanently erased.

Can I get back a deleted account?

No. Account removal is final and cannot be reversed by the staff either. Don't you know for sure, just leave your account standing.
