Vehicles form their own mini economy in BELLOCCO. You steal cars off the street, manage them in your garage, browse the catalog in the showroom, and then tune or sell them. If you hunt cleverly for rare rides and sell at the right moment, you build a second income stream next to your regular crimes. This guide explains how vehicle theft works, what determines a car's value and how to manage your collection for maximum profit.
Stealing cars in the mafia game
With Steal vehicle (under Vehicles) you try to boost a car off the street. The attempt itself costs no money: you only risk getting caught. Your success rate rises as your rank goes up, so an experienced player scores more often than a rookie. If the attempt fails, you may end up in jail, so this is not a risk-free pastime. There is also a short cooldown between attempts, so you can't keep grabbing cars endlessly.
What you catch is random. The loot ranges from common street cars to extremely rare top models. Every successful theft gives you a combination of rewards:
- XP that helps you climb in rank.
- Season points that count toward your progress in the current season.
- A chance at a tuning part that you can later install on a car.
- A chance at a vault code: an extra loot drop you can redeem.
- The stolen vehicle itself, which ends up in your garage: you only cash in its value once you sell it or race with it.
Strategically, vehicle theft is doubly interesting: the attempt is free and gives instant XP and season points, and you collect vehicles and parts that you can then sell, tune or use in races for pure cash.
Rarity & the value of rare cars
Vehicles range in rarity from common to legendary, with several tiers in between. Every car has a catalog value: the rarer the model, the higher that base value usually is. A legendary top car is a find you don't throw away lightly.
Catalog value is not the whole story, though. A car's condition, on a scale from 0 to 100%, also determines its current value, and it is more than just a price tag. Condition directly and linearly scales the car's effective power: at 50% condition you get roughly half your horsepower, which affects both acceleration and top speed. A badly battered supercar is not only worth less, it is genuinely slower than a tidy mid-range car in perfect shape. So when judging your loot, always look at two things at once: rarity (the potential) and condition (the current state and real speed). Read more about how condition affects your race times in tuning & street races.
- Rarity: sets the base value and how sought-after the car is.
- Condition: scales that value up or down depending on the damage.
Managing and selling from your garage
Your garage gives you an overview of all your cars, showing the condition and current value of each one. This is where you make the key decisions about your collection. Two actions are central:
- Repair: you raise the condition toward 100%. Repair costs go up as the damage gets worse, so fixing a car that is almost a total loss can be expensive. Always check whether the sale price after repair covers the cost.
- Sell: you turn the car into cash. There are two ways to do this.
At the dealer you sell instantly and guaranteed, but the dealer pays only about 55% of the value: handy when you need cash fast or want to get rid of a common car. On the Marketplace you sell to other players for the full price (minus commission). That route pays more, but you have to wait for a buyer to bite. For rare cars the Marketplace is almost always worth it; for common cars the dealer is often worth the convenience.
Note: if a car is at 0% condition (total loss), the Marketplace refuses the listing: nobody buys a wreck they can't take for a spin. The dealer will still take it, but for little more than scrap value. If you want a reasonable amount for it, repair it before you sell.
A golden rule: repair before you sell a valuable car, because condition counts toward the price. For a cheap common car, repairing is often wasted effort: just sell it as it is.
Got a full garage that needs attention? The "Repair all" and "Sell all" buttons handle your entire fleet in one go. "Repair all" does the cheapest repairs first, so with a limited budget you fix as many cars as possible instead of getting stuck halfway on an expensive one. Vehicles listed on the Marketplace are automatically skipped by both bulk actions: withdraw the listing first if you want to repair or sell those too.
The showroom as your hunting guide
In the showroom you browse the complete catalog of vehicles in the game: for each model you see the specs, rarity and value. That makes the showroom your main reference: you know exactly what you're hunting for and which cars are worth keeping, tuning or selling. It is also a fun way to see how much of the catalog you have already collected.
From the garage to the race track
Vehicles are not just for trading: they are also your ticket to the streets. With tuning & races you turn a stolen car into a faster machine, and in wager races you bet money against other players. The tuning parts you find while stealing come in handy here: the better your car is set up, the bigger your chance of winning a race. That closes the loop: stealing gives you cars and parts, tuning makes them faster, and races turn that speed into cash.
Smart strategy in a nutshell
- Steal regularly: it costs no money, and every successful attempt gives XP, season points, the vehicle itself and a chance at extra loot (a tuning part or vault code).
- Keep rare and legendary cars; sell common cars quickly to the dealer.
- Repair valuable cars before selling, but don't bother with cheap ones.
- Use the Marketplace for top cars and the dealer for quick cash.
- Save your tuning parts for the cars you want to race with.
Frequently asked questions
How do I steal a vehicle?
Go to Steal vehicle under Vehicles and start an attempt: it costs no money, only the risk of getting caught. Your success rate rises with your rank; if you fail, you risk jail time. There is a short cooldown between attempts. What you catch is random, from common street cars to legendary top models.
What are the garage and the showroom?
The garage is your personal overview: here you see your own cars with their condition and value, and you repair or sell them. The showroom shows the full catalog of every vehicle in the game with specs, rarity and value: handy for knowing what to hunt for.
Do I get XP and rewards for stealing?
Yes. A successful vehicle theft gives XP and season points, plus a chance at a tuning part and a chance at a vault code. You don't get cash directly: you only earn that once you sell the stolen vehicle or race with it. On top of that, the stolen vehicle itself lands in your garage.
What determines a car's value?
Two factors: rarity (from common to legendary) sets the catalog value, and condition (0 to 100%) scales the current value. A battered top car can sell for less than a tidy mid-range car, so repairing before you sell pays off for valuable cars.
Can I tune and race my car?
Absolutely. With parts you find or buy you can tune & race a car, and in wager races you bet money against other players. A better tuned car increases your chance of winning on the track.
