Frequently asked questions

How do I start a family?

If you're not a member yet, you can use the Family menu to found your own family or apply to an existing one. As the founder, you automatically become the leader.

What are the benefits of a family?

Families offer protection, joint jobs (organized crime), donation systems to support each other, and the chance to capture and defend territory and spots on the map together.

How does a family war work?

A family can declare war on another family. Every successful attack by a member on a member of the enemy family counts as one point; the first family to reach the set number of points (10 by default) wins the war instantly and earns a respect bonus for the whole family.

What is the map / Underworld map?

The map shows spots across the whole city that players and families can buy, build on and defend with walls and repairers, or bomb and take over from a rival.

Can I switch families?

Yes, you can leave your current family at any time and apply to another one, or start a new one yourself, although an ongoing war or commitment within your family can affect this.

What happens if my family is disbanded?

When a family is disbanded, all members lose their membership and any family-bound possessions (such as captured territory) revert to neutral.

How do I defend my spots on the map?

By sending in repairers after damage, building or reinforcing walls (which act as an HP shield), and by having enough active family members who can respond to attacks.

What is Organized Crime (OC)?

These are bigger jobs you carry out together with your crew (usually family members) for a shared loot that is often larger than a regular crime would earn on its own.
